SBB<\/strong>, a legendary progressive rock band from Poland, return in early April with a brand new studio album simply titled \u201cSBB\u201d.<\/strong> Today the band revealed its cover artwork created by the well-known Polish architect Tomasz Konior.<\/strong> <\/span><\/div>\n
J\u00f3zef Skrzek, the leader of the band, recalls the first meeting with Konior: \u201eWe had many common things to talk about\u00a0 – we were talking about Krystian Zimerman, the remodeling of the market place in Katowice and so on. I mentioned that he could work on SBB\u2019s new album cover – Tomasz said he has never done anything like this before, but he took on this challenge… We have the same sensibility on beauty \u2013 that\u2019s another common thing. For me, the album cover is extremely important, and Tomasz just hit the mark. This is our first but surely not the last project.”\u00a0

The album will be released by Metal Mind Productions on April, 2nd in Europe<\/strong> and June, 5th in USA<\/strong> (via MVD).\u00a0 Skrzek describes the new material as \u201ea new sound – fresh, mature yet spontaneous and full of youthful energy”.\u00a0 SBB currently consists of J\u00f3zef Skrzek and Apostolis “Lakis” Anthimos.<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
